Job Description
This position assists with the review, analysis, interpretation and implementation of billing codes within a multi platform environment.
Skills Required
|
Current coding certification, e.g. CPC,
CPC-P. |
|
Five (5) years knowledge of medical coding experience required, preferably in a payer environment. |
|
Experience with claims editing/coding software. |
|
Ability to communicate with all levels of management. |
|
Thorough knowledge of coding concepts and guidelines (e.g. correct coding initiative, AMA, HCC). |
|
Experience with both CPT and ICD9 coding analysis and medical record review. |
|
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. |
