Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis of healthcare and financial data.  This position acts an internal consultant to the organization; developing reporting solutions, analytic methodologies, data presentation and analysis of data for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include the process of business needs collection and documentation; data and systems analysis; report design and creation; data findings formatting, aggregation and presentation; results analysis; documentation of processes and findings, to cover the reporting business needs of a set of internal departments or external clients.

	Bachelor's degree in a work related field/discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent is required.  Demonstrated course work in systems analysis, computer science, SQL, statistics, databases or other related areas.
	At least two (2) years of directly related work experience including previous experience creating variety of reports using a Business Intelligence or Analytics tool (e.g. Cognos, BO, Brio, SSIS, SPSS, SAS, Micro Strategy or similar; performing quantitative analysis, health care statistical or financial analysis.
	Experience utilizing using relational databases, data warehouse and datamarts to create reporting solutions.  Basic to intermediate SQL skills.
	Two (2) years of experience using supplemental software tools (e.g. MS Access, Excel, Acrobat) as needed, in order to present data results.
	Experience in healthcare delivery systems highly desirable, especially managed care business. Experience utilizing business intelligence, relational database and data warehouse methodologies.
	Strong quantitative and analytic skills; attention to detail; Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
	Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
	Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and Business Intelligence or Analytics tool. Business analytical skills to understand, verbalize and document the business objectives of his/her customer and to develop the reporting and analytical solutions to the business issues.
