Gloria L. Austin, Chief Executive Officer, was appointed CEO of Brown & Toland in May 2000. Prior to her appointment at Brown & Toland, Ms. Austin served as Corporate Executive Vice President and President of California for the Talbert Medical Management Company. Ms. Austin worked with FHP, Inc., for more than 18 years, ultimately serving as that organization's Senior Vice President, Corporate Healthcare Delivery. In that role, she was responsible for FHP's staff model HMO operations, including 58 medical centers, two hospitals, and two skilled nursing facilities in five states. Ms. Austin holds an Executive MBA from the University of California at Irvine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Ms. Austin sits on the board and the executive committee for the California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG), and served as Chairperson for CAPG in 2005. She also is a member of the CEO Mid Market Council of The Conference Board in New York. Ms. Austin also was named as one of the San Francisco Bay Area's "100 Most Influential Women in Business" in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Ms. Austin was also named as Alumnus of the Year for Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management for 2006.

Richard Angeloni, Vice President, Marketing and Communications, joined Brown & Toland in June 2000. He previously was a vice president of communications with Bank of America in San Francisco and has worked for more than 13 years in health care, first as public relations manager with Washington Hospital Healthcare System in Fremont, Calif., and then as communications manager with The Doctors' Company in Napa. He earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri -- Columbia and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.

Mark Ficker, Chief Operating Officer, has been with Brown & Toland since October 1999. Mr. Ficker has more than 12 years of experience and has worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, William M. Mercer and the Arizona Department of Health Services. He has significant experience in establishing financial monitoring and reporting systems for medical groups, HMOs, IPAs and hospitals. Mr. Ficker is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from San Francisco's Golden Gate University.

Richard Fish, Senior Vice President, New Business Development, joined Brown & Toland Medical Group in January 2007. He previously was a vice president at Heritage Development Organization, in Garden Grove, CA, and has more than 14 years health care experience at such organizations as Talbert Medical Group, Pacific Cardiovascular Associates/Pacific Hospitalist Associates, Talbert Medical Management Corporation, and FHP International. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural and Managerial Economics from the University of California -- Davis and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington -- Seattle.

Nancy Griest, Senior Vice President, Information Technology and Physician Practice Solutions, was a consultant to Brown & Toland for more than two years before she was named Corporate Director of Information Technology in August 2000. Prior to joining Brown & Toland, Ms. Griest was a senior manager with First Consulting Group, where she worked with insurance companies, health plans, and provider organizations. Ms. Griest has 21 years of healthcare industry experience working in the hospital, third party administration, and consulting fields. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Joel Klompus, M.D., President, served as a member of the Board of Directors for 17 years. He was named President in May 2007. Dr. Klompus earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jay Long, M.D., Vice President, Physician Growth Strategies, served on the Brown & Toland's Board of Directors in from 2007 to 2009. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine.

Stan Padilla, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, joined Brown & Toland as vice president of Medical Affairs in February 2000. Dr. Padilla, who has more than 18 years' managed care experience, has held vice president positions in medical management for both regional and corporate health plans. Dr. Padilla earned both his Bachelor of Science and medical degree from the University of New Mexico -- Albuquerque. He is a graduate of University of California -- San Francisco Family Practice Department.

Mary Roggero, Vice President of Human Resources, joined Brown & Toland in July 2003. She previously was director of human resources with Childrens' Hospital of Los Angeles and has worked for more than 25 years in health care and human resources. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Michigan and holds an MBA from National University.

Janet Shestakov, General Counsel, has served as General Counsel to Brown & Toland since September 1997. Previously she was an associate general counsel for the Del Monte Corporation and also worked as a transactional attorney at two San Francisco law firms. Ms. Shestakov earned her law degree from the University of California -- Berkeley and an MPA from the University of Colorado.

Fiona Wilson, M.D., Chief Quality Officer, earned her medical degree from the Harvard Medical School. She served for 11 years on Brown & Toland's Board of Directors and was named Brown & Toland's Vice President of Quality Initiatives in 2004. She joined Brown & Toland full time in July 2007.
