COVID-19 Testing Update for San Francisco Members
Contact your primary care physician for testing.
Over the past few weeks, the Bay Area has experienced a significant surge in COVID-19 infection and hospitalizations, with no immediate decline anticipated. To prevent the healthcare systems from being overwhelmed and allow the region to continue to resume business and other activities, the City and County of San Francisco's Department of Public Health (the City, and DPH) has responded.
Instead of visiting City or DPH managed testing sites, symptomatic or exposed patients are being directed to contact their medical groups or primary care physicians for testing. If you are a Brown & Toland member and meet the SFDPH COVID-19 testing eligibility criteria, please contact your primary care physician to make an appointment or be referred to an approved testing site.
