Brown & Toland Named a Top California Physician Group
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. (May 20, 2010) Brown & Toland Physicians ranked as one of the top medical groups in the state of California as measured by the California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG) survey. CAPG is the nation’s largest professional organization of physician groups practicing managed care.
This year, 80 medical groups that care for 10.8 million HMO patients participated in CAPG’s Standards of Excellence survey. The program recognizes quality in four areas: care management; health information technology; patient-centered care; and accountability and transparency.
Brown & Toland scored in the Elite tier as defined by the association alongside 24 other medical groups. This is the fourth year in a row that Brown &Toland earned a spot in the Elite tier.
