Brown & Toland Physicians to Partner With San Francisco Health Plan
San Francisco, CALIF., August 2, 2010 — Brown & Toland announced today that is has contracted with San Francisco Health Plan for its doctors to provide care to the health plan’s members.
“We are both happy and excited to contract with San Francisco Health Plan and provide care for its members,” said Richard Fish, Brown & Toland’s senior vice president of business development. “We are committed to providing high quality care to our members, and we welcome the opportunity to honor that same commitment for San Francisco Health Plan members.” Brown & Toland physicians will begin to provide care for San Francisco Health Plan members in fall 2010.
Brown & Toland has earned numerous awards for quality and constantly receives recognition as one of California’s top medical groups. Brown & Toland also was one of the first medical groups in the nation to deploy an integrated electronic health record to its physicians, improving care for its members. San Francisco Health Plan is a community health plan that provides health insurance to 60,000 San Franciscans. The Plan, which insures one in every four San Francisco children, has been the recipient of the Medi-Cal Gold Quality Award for three consecutive years.
