Jackie Bright Joins Brown & Toland as Senior Vice President
San Francisco, CALIF., Oct. 5, 2011 — Jackie Bright, formerly vice president at Sutter Health and chief executive officer of SutterSelect, the self-funded medical plan for Sutter employees and their dependents, has joined Brown & Toland Physicians as Senior Vice President of Health Plan and Network Strategies.
Prior to her position as CEO of SutterSelect, Ms. Bright was Chief Operating Officer for Sutter Connect, responsible for directing that organization’s operational departments, including claims, eligibility, billing, accounts receivable, client services and business development.

Ms. Bright has more than 25 years of management experience in service delivery, operations, business development, managed care and strategic planning for HMOs, medical groups, independent physician associations, and hospitals across the nation. Prior to her employment with Sutter, she was vice president at the Pace Group and a director at Foundation Health.
Brown & Toland Physicians, based in San Francisco, is an independent practice association (IPA) of more than 850 physicians serving more than 300,000 HMO and PPO patients. The group has earned numerous awards for quality and innovation over the years, and has been named a California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG) “Elite” group for five consecutive years.
